Peter Newman
Managing Director

Peter has some thirty years experience consulting at the strategic level to both public and private sector organisations. He is a keen advocate of innovation, being an owner/director of a number of companies providing state-of-the-art technological products and services.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Economics (University of Western Australia) and Diploma in Public Administration (TAFE). By combining his unique skills and extensive experience he is able to help organisations change their culture and environment in ways that change their focus from “What they are” to “What they could be”.

Phil Glew
Director

Philip Glew is a Director of AIC and the Principal of Glew Corporate Communication, a leading Perth-based advertising and public affairs company. For more than 20 years he has provided valuable guidance to some of Australia's most prominent organisations.

His ability to create innovative solutions has been recognised with several state, national and international awards from the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the International Association of Business Communicators.

Philip is a graduate of Curtin University, a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, a Member of the San Francisco-based International Association of Business Communicators, and a Member of the Australian Institute of Management.

Gordon Hill
Director, Business Development

Gordon Hill is a highly experienced international business executive with outstanding skills in business development, cost reduction and productivity improvement. His work for several businesses in the aerospace and fast moving consumer goods industries in the United Kingdom, and as a process improvement consultant, produced revenue increases amounting to more than £50 Million and £10 Million in productivity savings in the decade before relocating to Australia.

Over the past two years in Australia, Gordon has continued to create significant expansions and productivity improvements in businesses amounting to tens of millions of dollars.

Gordon has an Honours Degree in Business from Salford University and is a Fellow of The Institute of Operations Management (UK). He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

His proven track record in the application of innovation techniques for business improvement is of enormous benefit to the Centre's clients.

Robert Hounsell
Director, Training and Development

Robert Hounsell is a highly experienced training manager who is internationally recognised and is regularly called on by companies like Barclays Bank to conduct training courses in the UK and Africa.

He has consulted to many global companies and conducted training programs in Australia and 13 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Senior executives of client companies have praised Robert's programs as being exciting, innovative, first-rate, imaginatively crafted, unique, intriguing and highly effective. They also describe Robert as inspiring, passionate, and a creative genius with few equals for programme design and development.

Robert is also fluent in Spanish.

James Best
Senior Consultant

James Best specialises in areas as diverse as stakeholder and issues management, community relations, strategic planning, environmental consultation, occupational health and safety, corporate governance, marketing communication, and the communication elements of quality systems.

He is an experienced facilitator and educator. With more than 20 years in business and government, he applies the knowledge gained working with people to improve team dynamics, individual performance, and business outcomes. James has an extensive range of skills that he shares with individuals using interactive training techniques.

James is also the Mayor of the City of South Perth.

Erica Lemieux
Senior Consultant

Erica Lemieux is a specialist Human Resources practitioner with international experience working with global organisations.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with specialisations in Organisational and Human Resources, and Psychology from the University of Western Ontario where she achieved the Dean's Honour Roll status, and Academic All-Canadian Honour Roll status.

Her HR experience includes employee performance reviews and training development, benefit plans and payroll, staff induction processes, global staff communication programs, customer service initiatives, and the development of human resources policies.

Erica is also fluent in French.

He is an accomplished educator, facilitator, and coach who engages with his audience in ways that amplify the learning experience.
